This Has Probably Been Discussed, But Is There Any Chance We Get Hart Back Next Season?

I like what Naji has done but it just feels like Hart would be the better piece for a real run.

You are correct. Josh Hart is better than Naji Marshall lol

I like Hart but this team needs shooting and Hart doesn't provide enough of that.

A chance? Sure
Just not a very good one

Josh Hart could opt out of his deal and become a free agent this off season. The main issue is we're only about $7 million dollars from the luxury tax. Unless there's traded where we shed some salary, then I just don't see us going into the luxury tax for Josh Hart

No.
The Blazers have the choice of keeping him or not this offseason, and it would be rather stupid for them not to keep him unless they absolutely had to let him go for nothing so they can sign someone in FA, but even then, they'd probably be better off using him as a S&T filler to get whoever they are getting.
Hart has the player option the next year.

It's a team option, and the way he's playing if Portland doesn't want him they'll probably be better off trading him than cutting him.

I’m really curious if we couldn’t have/shouldn’t have fought harder to have kept him. The money would have worked with Graham instead of Hart. I have no doubt that would have been a major difference for the Blazers, but I would have at least been willing to give them a shot at our 2022 pick AND the Bucks 2025 instead of or. Not sure what the 22 pick would turn into, but replacing Graham with Hart would be worth a first.
PG- CJ/ Jose
SG- BI/ Hart
SF- Herb/ Snell
PF- Zion/ Hayes
C- Jonas/ Nance
That’s a really strong and complete roster.

Josh is awesome, it's impossible not to like him based on his attitude alone when he was here and he is clearly a great teammate. I think every team in the league would take him. He also is on a pretty friendly deal. But we needed his 3pt shooting to improve and it just didn't. I hated to see him go but he didn't add as much to the table as we needed and was a necessary casualty.

Any chance we could get Brogdon this offseason? Graham, Nance and pieces for him?
McCollum/Alvarado or Lewis
Brogdon/Ivey (from Lakers top 4 pick)
Ingram/Jones/Murphy
Zion/Jones
Val/Hayes
That is a dangerous team.

Portland wanted the ability to create max space this offseason which they may able to do. They wanted flexibility.
Even if they cut him I think he gets more than the MLE.

They'll trade him for second round picks before they cut him.

Hart served his purpose here. He ain't coming back to sit on the bench and play limited minutes. And he'll cut into Herb's minutes as well. I'm comfortable going with Murphy, Naji, and possibly a cheap free agent shooter or a player from the Lakers pick.
Love Hart but it doesn't make sense for him to return based on money or playing time.

Hart is getting his option picked up. Portland wants flexibility but they aren’t stupid

Most likely, but if they can attract a big time guy with a max deal they will do everything they can to do so, including cutting Hart or trading him into space.

I thought griffin structured the Hart deal so that both sides had an opt-out after this year which was why it was such an interesting contract.
Not saying he would come here but i can see Hart opting out of his current deal for something long term.
