Is the future Jameis? IMO the QB class isn't superlative enough to grab a 1st round QB.

Do we snag a WR2? Olave, Williams, Pickens...?

I'd like to know what everyones opinion is.

Sucks that the class is loaded with O-Line. I am just preparing everyone for the melt if we draft o-line. I want that WR2. No one is talking drafting out for more picks or future picks. I wouldn't mind that route either.

I bet it’s O-Line. I could see them telling themselves that MT coming back solves the WR problem (which it mostly does) and deciding they can find a WR2 in later rounds

It's going to be another goddamn C/G combo player. Watch.

If MT is double teamed then what?

We would need a speedy WR who can be a deep threat.

It should be BAP or a trade down we can’t refuse. (if it comes along)

Reaching to fill a need in RD 1 ends bad most of the time.

If MT consistently draws either double coverage or opposing CB1 then I believe Callaway and Harris would feast with an adequate QB. This is of course assuming all these guys stay healthy and we have an adequate QB.

With that being said, I’m still in favor of bringing in a WR2 type still

I`d rather get a freeagent WR than trust a rookie.Take
the best player available in 1st round.

We are sleeping on these two. Harris is a hidden gem.

Don't forget about Hill, Kamara, and Johnson.

What if BPA is a WR?

I think they stick with the BPA approach unless they lose Armstead or M Williams, then I could see them reaching a little to grab a replacement in the 1st.

Based on who appears to be available in most of the mocks, it appears some of the BPA will be Olave (WR), Williams (WR), Jordan Davis (DT), Ojabo (Edge)

I think a lot of fans are sleeping on them because of how much they struggled with MT out. With that said, it would be great to still address the WR position, even if it's to get someone that can compete/compliment Harty's offensive abilities to make sure they don't run him into the ground

Going to trade 2 first and a 2nd for a part time defensive player in the first. Oh wait nevermind Payton is gone

Biggest need IMO is a WR2 that’s complimentary to Thomas and Kamara

I'd agree but I think you can fill that need with decent talent in 2nd and 3rd rounds.

I don't see the Saints hitching their wagon to Jameis indefinitely. Taysom project has been fun but he is better elsewhere. Biggest need is QB.

Take best QB, TE, or DT available if there isn't a standout at one of those three positions then trade back and acquire more picks.

Rookies, especially Wr, have been doing real good in the league. I would have no problem trusting the right one. I say draft WR2 in the first.

But, they will probably take best player available. If it were me there is no way I would draft a QB at 18. I just don't see one worth taking in the 1st. I'd rather resign Winston and eat dubs all day long, then draft one of these QB's.

and when Winston gets hurt? Remember last year having to play 4 QBs? Have to draft a QB at some point and have them play or develop. Cut the current QB room except for Winston.

if they were smart fans then would give a standing ovation if we go o-line with our 1st 3 picks.

we need much much better o-line players on this team

a whole lot of mediocracy can be overcome if you have good protection for your QB and run blocking
