So, if you’re OK with sending weapons, are you OK if Russia starts targeting our transports? Or maybe our weapon distribution centers?

If we were in a conflict, we’d have no qualms about targeting entities supplying weapons to who we’re fighting. Why wouldn’t Russia?

I’m all for Ukraine winning this but I doubt Putin will idly sit by while we add more arms to the battle against his forces.

Hum vee. I let the medic, NBC guy and others use the 113. We used 113s instead of 577s. 1 113 for the 1SG and 1 for the mechanics.

113?! My deepest sympathies. I had a 577 and that sucked hard enough.

if they need help on how to fight an insurgency they can employ mujahideen from the taliban and maybe some chechen rebels as well.

The USA is still buying Russian Oil & Gas. As such, the USA is funding the Russian war machine.

Now, I have a hunch that this version of the USA would like nothing better than to send US troops to fight Russian soldiers whilst simultaneously funding the Russian war machine, because that's how sinister we have become as a country. That's how morally bankrupt we have become.

So, given what I've posted, how can any sane person ask whether we should send troops to Ukraine? Our own country is NOT serious about stopping the Russian war machine - obviously not because we're still buying Russian O&G.

So how exactly was Trump going to deter Putin if he would have never committed American force to the conflict? Just asking.

Not ground troops. But we should set up a no-fly zone and be bombing the frick out of anything Russian crossing into Ukraine.

No American should die for a former Soviet republic now fighting with Russia. Biden caused this by trying to include Ukraine in NATO. This was foreseeable.

I want to know where the Ukrainian civilian/soldiers got javelin missiles from. We have to be naive to think US special forces weren't in country over the last few months arming folks.

Just one man's opinion.

Not no but hell no.

That said, absolutely NOTHING is stopping you from getting a flight to Poland, hopping a ride and volunteering. They could use the help.

Also what about drones? Surely the potato remembers his old boss’s favorite toys.

You’re a moron. Russia isn’t some Middle East shithole we can set up a no-fly zone with ease. They have advanced AA weapons that will down a significant number of our aircraft. Unless we are prepared to abandon our downed airman to be captured by the Russians and spend the rest of their lives in a gulag, then we have to have a ground component.

Also, Russia isn’t going to differentiate between an air war and a ground war. They will consider us at fully war and retaliate in which ever way they can. Potentially on the U.S. homeland.

Fine then have a small ground component for extractions.

But the part about attacks on US soil is absurd - the only modern successful attack on the mainland has been 9/11 which was from the inside.

Nothing is getting close from the outside.

Also like I mentioned in another thread there’s always drones.

I’m not asking if I should go

I’m asking if we should send troops that are trained to fight wars

Many think we should. I’m not asking if YOU would go.
