I still don’t understand the crack pipe thing. At least sharing needles has some health concerns and public safety issues with improper disposal

The initiative from HHS plans to provide naloxone, fentanyl test strips, and clean syringes, as well as go after violent criminals who are trafficking illicit drugs like fentanyl across U.S. borders and into local communities, Becerra and Gupta said.

The fact that you think the people opposing this are 'dumb' says everything about you
Why should taxpayers be paying for any of that? What is a "safe smoking kit" that makes it ANY safer to use, and won't those pipes just be used over and over like the ones already used?
It makes zero sense for our government to fund this, when there's a million other things they could be doing with our tax dollars that better serves us. If you support this without question, congratulations you're one of the brainwashed idiots that'll support anything the left trots out there like a good little lap dog.

Biden/USA is not buying crack pipes.
Biden/USA is giving $$$ to local government and NGOs that give them out.
The $$$ is specifically for "clean kits" and similar "safe use" items.

So taxpayers are supposed to be paying for junkies to have a clean way to smoke their crack, shoot their heroin and then also pay for a way for them to treat themselves if they overdose?
Seems reasonable.
