The seas lapping against America’s coastlines are rising ever faster and will be 10 to 12 inches higher by the year 2050, with major Eastern cities hit regularly with costly floods even on sunny days, a government report says.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and six other federal agencies issued a 111-page report Tuesday that warns of “significant consequences” from rising seas in the next few decades, with parts of Louisiana and Texas projected to see waters a foot and a half (0.45 meters) higher.

However, the worst of the long-term sea level rise from the melting of ice sheets in Antarctica and Greenland probably won’t kick in until after 2100, the study’s lead author said.

Welp...better start evacuating everything South of I-10 and almost all of Florida.

I bet you can still get a 30 year mortgage to buy in Miami.

And why did Hussein & Big Mike sink $11M into a house right on the water at Martha's Vineyard?

Because 30 years is long enough to make a career off of it without the people saying “I won’t be here in 100 years.”

Far enough away where most middle-aged adults now will be retired or don’t care to prove them wrong.

It used to be 20 years. But after constantly being wrong they decided to give themselves some wiggle room.

And Kamala could get jobs and promotions on her own merit and intelligence without having to suck c*ck and rely on the sole fact that she's posing as a black woman. It COULD happen, but it never will.

Just had an idea for a paper to write. All climate alarmists are racist and prejudice against desert dwellers. Sure the seas will rise, but we will have a warmer, moister climate. There will be more rainfall all over the world and the deserts will benefit. Some of the most barren parts of the Earth will become like new gardens of Eden. Why would these people want to deprive people of the world's deserts of their future bounty. They are racist and want to protect their precious coastlines with all their million dollar mansions and resorts. This must end. Let the coal plants and gas cars blow. For the good of the world.

One of the few fiction books that has footnotes and a bibliography.

In this book Crichton states that the government uses fear to control the masses. After WW2 it the Cold War and possible nuclear strikes were used as a source of fear.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union the Cold War ended so the government replaced it with Global Warming/Climate change as the new source of fear.

It was a good read, would make an OK movie, no dinosaurs are in it.

Given that my house is a mile from the ocean, I for one, am looking forward to that appreciation in home value as I get nearer and nearer to beachfront property.
