I remember one in the Superdome around 97ish
It was the Blues Brothers, ZZ Top, and James Brown. That the best I have seen in a while.

So? It's a Superbowl halftime show you fricking geek. This isn't a life changing decision.

I will never understand why people give any fricks about this stuff.

1. Prince
2. Michael Jackson
3. Bruno Mars
Last night's was a decent show. But mainly for the nostalgia for me. Chronic 2001, Eminem, and 50 Cent all came out when I was in high school and they were all HUGE hits at the time. Other than that they were just shoving the city of L.A. down America's throat for some reason.

Wa Eminem lip syncing? It looked to me like he was moving the mic away from his mouth, but we kept haring him.
Most of them had a lip sync on to cover up a lot of the language in their stuff I would imagine.
Most impressive part of the show was Snoop at the beginning being able to change all the lyrics and not miss a beat.
Blige was awful.
Show was fine. I enjoy the music, performance was meh.

musical significance of this,
What was so musically significant about it?

Yeah, it's not like the game was played in L.A. or something like that.

This pretty much sums up my thoughts.

frick L.A. -I ever want to visit that shithole again.

I mean the host city generally gets a lot of pub. It’s why they want to host these things. La has been getting shite on for a while so they obviously wanted to go overboard.

I've never been. I'd like to go. Most major cities are facing a lot of problems these days, many of which are self-inflicted. I'll wait a bit before making a trip out there.

L.A. was cool when I went (About 10 years ago). It's a lot like Houston with insane climate. Huge sprawl/traffic and it takes forever to get from A to B. Obviously lots more landmarks than Houston, but like the look/feel is Houston with insane climate and palm trees.
Supposedly the homeless problem has gotten a LOT worse than then. Going to San Diego next month and I'm curious how that's going to be. I went there like 5.5 years ago and it was nice, but, like LA, I've heard it's gotten worse.

If you can get past your racism and "everything is woke" world-view and appreciate the musical significance of this, you have to say this is in the Top 3
I agree with this but it isn't the people's fault that they can't get past that. It has been jammed down their throats for a few years now

Dre, Snoop, Fiddy, Mary J and Eminem
I'd rank it over Creed at least.

Because the only reason someone could even possibly not like rap is racism?

It's art you fool. People have differing opinions of what is good, great and even "phenomenal".
But right on cue, call people racists if they don't think like you.
Yep, them being racists is why they like Prince so much.

A lot more homeless, in every park and even on the beaches.
