No team in motorsports trips over their own dicks as much as Ferrari. Oh well, on to Indy.

I had to leave and watch later. Ferrari fricks up again. I'm used to it. They still have the overall edge.
Career win for Sergio, though. His grandkids will one day be telling their friends that their grandpa won the greatest race of them all.

Max AND Sergio summoned to stewards for pit exit infringement
It says to keep to the right, but it doesn't say keep all the way to the right.
quote:
11) Lines at the Pit Entry and Pit Exit
11.1 In accordance with Chapter 4 (Section 5) of Appendix L to the ISC drivers must keep to the right of the solid yellow line at the pit exit when leaving the pits and stay to the right of this line until it finishes after Turn 1.
11.2 In order to warn drivers leaving the pits that the pit exit is obstructed, two (2) yellow arrows will be illuminated, one at the pit exit and one just before Turn 1. If either of these are illuminated, drivers leaving the pits are permitted to cross the yellow line.
11.3 Except in the cases of force majeure (accepted as such by the Stewards), the crossing by any part
of the car, in any direction, of the blue painted area, between the pit entry and the track, by a driver
who, in the opinion of the Stewards, had committed to entering the pit lane is prohibited.

Their cars have more pace.

Ferrari is the faster car right now. The result is just due to bad strategy and being Monaco.
Not a ton of info can be extrapolated from race day at Monaco.

We going to get a Ferrari 1-2 after max and Sergio get a penalty?

Thoughts on Mick at this point?
Thoughts on Danny Ric?

There likely won't be any penalty.
Having said that, can we skip Monaco for future seasons? Or at least figure out a way to have DRS in the tunnel? That procession in the latter half of the race was boring as hell. If not for Ferrari tripping over themselves, the race would have finished in the same order as qualifying. It's horrible.

I saw a reddit post saying from turkey 2020, the precedent was that the whole tire had to be over the line. So couple that with wet track, I don't think there will be a penalty.

Im not sure either get a penalty. Sergio is hard to see. Max crossed, but they may excuse it because the track is wet.
Should they? Eh. Kind of similar to Lando last year in Russia. They excused that.

Sergio's wasn't as bad, but max pretty much impeded leclerc. Would have been a drag race which leclerc probably would have won due to his tires being up to temp.

Hate to say this since he's my favorite driver, but it's no secret that he is underperforming and might be done with McLaren after this year.

Wonder where Ric lands. I think he gets one more ride, even if it is for a one year contract.
