Thin at DL. Cain is gonna have some work to do because we need a really good DL haul in 2023

Lance Heard not having an offer is criminal.

Well maybe so when you take Manning, Holstein, and Collins off the table...

There's a lot of depth in this class.

Lot of currently unranked prospects with multiple offers.

LSU needs to start pressing early in this cycle for the elite prospects and start getting offers out to the rising prospects ASAP.

Figure out who is worth waiting on and get the ball rolling on the Louisiana kids who want to commit to LSU now.

1) in State looks pretty good; (2) it doesn't matter anymore: national brand + NIL -- the top tier of the SEC is nationwide.

The “Gumbo Pot” talent evaluations have spoken. Star Ratings & Crystal Balls to follow.

Maybe instead of stars you could use the
5 Shrimp rating system & instead of Crystal Balls you could use the Cast Iron Pot forecast. It would be just as valid as the rest.

Right now '23 has 17 players rated 4 star or higher. Just for comparison I looked up the last five years to see how they compared.

'22 - 16 (4* plus)
'21 - 11
'20 - 16
'19 - 16
'18 - 13

So LA has averaged 14 4* + players over the past 5 years. And keep in mind those were the final rankings. By national signing day there could be 20+ 4 star players when some of these 3 star guys get offers from bama and other big programs.
