My dumbest pet peeve is when I tell someone 'thank you' and they respond with 'thank you', too. fricking say 'you're welcome' like you're supposed to.

People who back into parking spaces.

ETA I knew this would bring out all the F-350 Big Rig Butters types. Y'all keep backin' in, I wouldn't want to ruin your fun.

I see it every day on this website.

Your and You're

"Should of" instead of "Should have"

My wife fills the dogs food bowl with water occasionally.

It's the bowl closest to the food container and is his designated food bowl.

I have made dog chow soup for my dog many times...

Putting down the lid on the toilet seat. Don't know why but it irks me when just the seat is down. Put it all the way down or not at all.

People saying “no problem,” when they shouldn’t. Drives me nuts!

Like if you made a mistake or something or did something wrong and they say no problem, fine.

If your thanking someone for doing something and they say no problem, that makes it seem like I did something wrong

People abbreviating things in verbal communication.

I work in IT and hearing someone say "stored proc" or "it's a proc" drives me bonkers. Just say damn stored procedure.

Personally, I don't think it's dumb... but mine is when people reply all to emails that don't require collaboration or input... like: "I will be taking a few days off for blah blah blah, call so and so"... then 100 people reply all "enjoy your time off!".

Left lane cruisers, for one.

People who wait in line to order food, and when they finally get there, not knowing what they want. The Mrs is guilty.

When you are at a red light and the fellow in the car behind you or next to you is picking his nose. Wait, you think that nobody's watching?

When I want to turn right on red and some clown that's going straight is sitting in the lane when there's a perfectly good left lane for them to have used. Bonus points for when its something where a lot of right on reds happen like a turn on for a highway.

I realize its fully irrational for me to expect people to do that it just frustrates the impatient part of me for some reason.

I have a few but my biggest would be the motha flippin produce bags at grocery stores. I can not get the damn thing open. I’ve started tearing 3 or 4 off the roll and wrapping the produce in that instead of sitting there for 10 minutes cussing and fussing.

People who pull up to an intersection and sit for 2-3 minutes.

Then pull up another 2-3 feet like "now I'm really ready to pull out"
