The removal of sanction against the Nordstream 2 pipeline is far more damaging than anything Trump did in his 4 years.
It can impact both European and NATO relationships negatively, causing the division of allies.
Despite your views of Trump’s faults, he actually did realize the harm in tying Europe, specifically Germany, to Russia.
Biden was apparently all for facilitating that.
