Just explain to them that NOLA is below sea level so hydrostatic pressure will result in sewage backflowing into the RV.

No problem -- just make sure that they're in the the EM-50 Urban Assault Vehicle --
Let's see how many people get this reference.

And you chose NOLA. Why are you complaining?

Reunion Lake
Fireside
Both on the Northshore. Parents shouldn’t be murdered at either one. Both fairly new and within 1.5 miles of each other. Fairly easy access to Causeway—Mandeville traffic sucks. Pick up your parents a day or two and “do” NOLA. They can also rent a car and hit the MS coast or head to Cajun Country for a day trip.

Stupid decision I know. couple years back work relocated me to the area. Never been to New Orleans in my life. Thought it would be cool (like a stupid person.)
Haven't moved cause it's not pissed me off enough yet to go through the hassle of moving again. But getting close.

Not sure if open but years and years ago there was a state park with cabins on west bank
Bayou segnette. Or something like that…

Seems like there could be some options in the Bucktown area by the lake?

I would tour the city in an rv that looks like a library bus.

there’s going to be a story linked here at some point detailing how your parents got their RV, wallet, and purse carjacked.

Make sure Nola is their last stop and they have plane tickets home already lined up.

New Orleans West Koa. 11129 Jefferson Hwy River Ridge, LA 70123. Drive by it all the time and think to myself it's a weird place for an RV park. Definitely safe.
One of the sketchier parts of Jefferson parish
I like the idea of north shore then renting a car & driving in
