We are spending 2 nights there before moving on to the strip. I was wanting to do the old school steakhouse thing so I have a reservation at Oscar's. Is there anything better? What about Breakfast and Lunch ideas?

Freemont St was the only thing I liked about Vegas. That's all I got.

Looks like Binon’s steakhouse is temporarily closed, but I really enjoyed it.

Was that the Evil Kneivel pizza place? Glad to hear you enjoyed Oscar's, I was thinking of trying the rib cap so will definitely do it now.

Pizza Rock is right next to everything and has some of the best pizza anywhere. You can dine in or get slices to go. They have a fantastic Detroit Style too.

Co-sign on Pizza Rock. It's fantastic.
Saginaw's Deli in the new Circa is really really good too. I went once for breakfast when I was there last summer and ended up going back the next day (and one lunch as well). Very good pastrami and a perfect fried baloney sandwich.

Pizza Rock is a must every time I go to Vegas. Tony Gemignani (owner and chef) is the real deal in the pizza industry... best selling author, public speaker, consultant, etc.
The original place I fell in love with the Detroit Pizza.

Hugo's Cellar at the 4-Queens. Matzah ball soup at the El Cortez

Thanks everyone for the input. Sounds like Pizza Rock is a must try, will probably stop for a slice there after the Mob Museum. We are staying at the El Cortez so will give the Matzah ball soup a try as well.

If you're still looking for a breakfast spot hit up Binion's Cafe, not the steak house, HUGE proportions and in an old time casino cool environment. Menu and food pic's on their website.
My 1st stay in Vegas was at El Cortez, 1988.

Make sure you go to the bar in the basement if the Mob Museum. Order an Old Fashioned. Worth it.
