No you didn't. You can't answer any questions about where that was taken, what store or chain, what town or region. It's a fake and you didn't take it with your phone.
Later tonight I am going to post a picture of the butter, the price tag.. and my middle finger...
until then.

More fake pictures. Can't wait.

That's extremely high even for my area, and costs are sky high here.
For reasons beyond my understanding, FedGov wants to push a massive increase in deficit spending (Build Back Better), which would likely exacerbate this problem.
From a monetary policy perspective, I'm surprised the Fed hasn't hiked interest rates already.

Where the hell are you shopping? That exact same package is $3.49 at my local Smith's (Kroger) grocery store.

You can get 2 like that of Walmart's brand for the same price. I always buy the non-brand of butter.

It's sugar, and the vegetable oils, as previously mentioned.

I thought about doing the same thing.
But OP seems like the type who probably shopped the whole neighborhood for the highest prices to score some sweet internet points.

I’m really unsure of the point you’re trying to make
Care to elaborate?
Everything in this country is fine?

It’s not even $6.29 here (Louisville) with Instacart’s markup.

Absolutely not but I'm not going to spend every waking hour freaking out over things outside my control. I have plenty things within my control to worry over.

Where is this coming from, golden cows?
It's coming from a factory somewhere run by probably half the regular staff (while the other half sits home getting stimulus checks), and then trucked over to your grocery store by the few truck drivers still willing to work.
But we voted for this, so...

Why are you shopping for butter at La Michoacana? That's like saying milk at a drug store is expensive.

Dude, why lie about the market price of butter?
Anyone can make a legitimate statement about what they think is good or bad based on reality.
Or you can just lie about it.
But why lie? It's lazy and no one believes it.

..
Absolutely right..
Since I needed bread anyway this morning.
This first photo goes out to anyone that is saying that I didn't take the photograph or that I found the picture on the internet... This ones for you.
This next photo is for anybody saying that I should have just went to a different store. No.. all I had to do was just look a couple items over and there was an alternative... I had options and didn;t have to go anywhere else.
Here's the store... Just in case some of you folks think I am just making it all up.
And since today is Election Day in Oklahoma... And I am an Independant, I am going to go vote for anything and everything that has an "R" by their name because of the Potato head in office and his cackling hen that is making this mess worse.... Build Back Better my arse. I think it was better before when gas was $1.87 per gallon and butter was $0.99.
But to any dumbass that thinks the answer is just go shop somewhere else, and that will just magically fix all our problems... That is the reason we have Wal-marts and Dollar Generals everywhere and no longer have family owned small business's anymore.
So here's a photo of a homeless guy in a box for ya that I took today.
