I would love for all of these intellectuals to explain exactly what they heard on the JRE that they found so objectionable.

No. I’m choosing freedom of speech. Failure wants to squash that.

I understand what you are trying to do. Don’t be obtuse.

AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Bob Seager, and Tool were hold outs for a while too

Failure is exercising their own freedom of speech and association. You are choosing a side.

Rebecca Black announced she was/would yesterday no?

for context- she averages less than 900k listeners a month. 0.45% of Rogan’s monthly listeners. i say let the losers ‘exercise their freedom of speech’ (as Kork says) and lose money.

The point was that you are not choosing "freedom of speech", you are choosing the particular speech that you agree with.

Unless he’s actively campaigning to censor or cancel them so that others can’t listen to their music, I don’t understand the point you’re trying to make.

I actively choose not to listen to rap. It’s a personal choice. I’m not trying to get the music genre or particular artist to be banned.

He is acting like he's supporting free speech by choosing one's speech over another's. That's not supporting free speech, that's supporting an agenda. And again, that's fine, but it's silly to act like your choice is guided by freedom of speech. It just doesn't make sense.

This isn't nearly as clever as you think it is. Stfu and stop spamming the thread with nonsense.

I'm not trying to be clever. In fact I feel like what I'm saying is so painfully obvious that it's sad that I even have to explain it.

Not much to figure out here. Choose free speech in the form of lies, or choose free speech in the form of opposition to lies. Just understand that either choice is not the same as choosing "freedom of speech", it's just choosing your preferred speech.

You are being purposely obtuse and you know it.

No he is not asking for somebody he likes or agrees with to be censored. He’s also not asking for somebody he doesn’t like or disagrees with to be censored either.

Of course he is going to be louder about somebody he agrees with getting censored but for your point to be the gotcha you’re trying to get, you’d have to have evidence that they were for censoring somebody on the other side. There’s no evidence of that.

This is called being obtuse, despite all your cute dancing around like an arse.

I don’t think you understand how freedom of speech works. Like, at all.
