Wins/losses don’t matter anymore.
Playing for championships doesn’t matter anymore.
Player development doesn’t matter anymore.
Having good relationship with players/family doesn’t matter anymore.
Playing for the home state doesn’t matter anymore.

LSU needs an organized NIL plan…period. Hoping that a 10-win season next year results in a top 5 recruiting class is naive/foolish.

It’s time for Scott to REALLY earn his salary in the coming months.

will only cost the ticket holders and tax payers more money. These businessmen arent just giving their money away without figuring a way to get some back. Their companies will charge more for their products and or services and all the fans will pay. Its really screwing up the game

I would add that we’re spending a lot of money on recruiting visits. That doesn’t seem to matter either. Just put the money towards NIL deals.

It doesn't cost tax payers anything. It costs those who voluntarily choose to buy tickets and donate to TAF.

Can't compete with the real big money schools. Simply do not have the resources/funding. LSU and the top brass have to figure out how to stay above water until all of this stuff settles out.

NIL and the portal will change college football forever.

You have to admit something does seem fishy with what A&M is doing. Maybe fishy isn’t the right word but the $ they have to spend in addition to also being a traditional power with all the amenities needed to get players to the next level means they could be hard to beat going forward.

*nothing but downvotes

Ok, I'll modify it a little bit.

If that doesn't matter, we don't want you.

What these players chasing the money are going to have to learn the hard way is that the money is not the most valuable asset, playing time is, especially if they aspire to play in the NFL and the vast majority of them will be hitting the portal quickly to find places they can play right away to get the experience they need for the next level and many will have NIL deals they will have to pay back and forced to stay where they are at and still not get the playing time they need and desire...

They are going to learn...

No shite. Louisiana is a poor state. Unless LSU donors gonna commit Bama psycho level money or NIL reforms, expect a decade of 8-4.
