Did Brees waffling cost us Payton?

Brees Waffling doomed the franchise. If he would have retired 3 years ago, we would be in better financial position.

I think the no-call and all the BS from the league had a lot more to do with Payton leaving than the current QB situation.

He would've retired had we won in 2018, and we would've won in 2018 if not for the No-Call. The No-Call cost us Payton.

Yup. They've been out to get Payton since 2010-2011 when he told the NFL inquisition to pound sand. Instead they used the mountain of bountygate evidence (numbers on a bar napkin) to suspend him for a year. The frickery that's gone on ever since is the NFL trying to push Payton out. Problem for them is he's a damn good coach and kept us in it no matter the shite hand of cards dealt to him by providence or the NFL.
frick this League and frick the organization at this point, welcome back to the state of irrelevance Saints fans. They'll just expect us to lap up shite slury if they call it soup. I'm done, let LA carry the NFL's future.
The Saints can relocate to St. Louis or San Antonio for 20 years for all I care.

Payton and Brees are both pussy arse cowards. Payton had a hall of famer QB and did the minimum. Even that 09 Super Bowl was shady as frick. frick them both.

Drew Brees helped save this franchise and is our best player in franchise history. This franchise may have moved if not for his greatness. He won us a Super Bowl. Some of you saints fans are too spoiled bc you’ve never endured bad years pre Drew or have political beef.
