Has the "NFL is a Terrible Product" crowd come out yet?

Find something in sports that gave you over 12 hours of content over a weekend that was exciting as what we just saw. Between the stakes, the performances, and just epic games that was as good as it gets.

I don't know if I fit in that crowd, but hell of a small sample to draw your conclusion from. Divisional round of the playoffs
I did enjoy all of the games.
I did enjoy all of the games.

Other than feeling cheated for a legit fair ending for the Bills/Chiefs game, that was the best NFL playoff weekend in recent memory.

I watched more NFL this weekend than I have almost all season, and the Divisional Round certainly delivered. Really glad I tuned in.
*Not an NFL boycotter, just busy and the Bears are pathetic and not worth my time.

NFL toned down the woke crap this year too. Most Americans love football and seeing packed stadiums.

Don't blame the messenger -- you can't make up the ending to yesterday's game, or to the insane "endings" of at least 25 games this year.
If pure orchestrated "Entertainment" is what a NFL viewer wants, then enjoy.
For others who've been watching a while, we're not impressed by routine 60 second TD drives, Marshmallow-soft rules and D, ref-abuse, and games scripted & rigged for maximum buzz and Marvel-type super-hero QBs.
So yes -- the NFL is now a turrible version of the WWE with pads and a football.

I think they are now the 'NFL is scripted/rigged' crowd.

Not really...including every commercial break where I have to be informed that a black man makes $10K less than his white counterparts or how more and more CEOs and business leaders will soon look like the black lady in the commercial because of reasons.

Yeah that commercial is really some bullshite. It’s profoundly against the law to pay someone differently because of an immutable characteristic.

That game ad is as outrageous a lie and sh*t-stirring propaganda as I've ever seen.
The NFL has toned down ZILCH BLM crap. And how many player helmets still carry those 'END RACISM' messages?

ITT: everyone proving the OP's point by pointing out how there are a million woke commercials sponsored by the NFL and they watched every one of them.

Go woke go broke
The NFL is trying hard to prove that untrue.
Apparently many have temporarily forgotten their principles (myself included recently).
The NFL is not willing to back off of their BLM Propaganda agenda.

I think he means overtime rules which never gave Buffalo a chance to possess the ball.

My question for the "It's scripted" crowd is, how exactly do they do it? How do you get all of these people in on it, and get them to keep their mouths shut? I understand the offensive heavy rules makes endings like this easier, but how is it scripted like WWE?
Posted on 1/24/22 at 12:39 pm to Tarpon08
It was terrible in the wild card round, but fantastic in the division round

Overtime rules stink. The only thing that could stop Josh Allen all night was a coin.

the nfl is objectively the best league in sports and it isn't close.
personally i prefer college football but i can't say it's "better" than the nfl with a straight face.
