Is he speaking about his hospital or society?

You need to insulate them from this virus (especially in a hospital where they may be vulnerable), but not from other people. Let's not pretend it's as devastating to healthy children as RSV can be. It's critically important to get kids back into day care and schools. We are doing a lot of damage to their development and our economy by forcing schools to shut down for quarantine just because someone tests positive.

Covid is primarily a problem for their parents and grandparents - and even that's becoming less of an issue with Omnicron. If the teachers are uncomfortable with the potential for being exposed to Covid (along with every seasonal cold under the sun), they need to retire or get another job.

Is he talking about within medical facilities? Because that's where his authority and expertise ends.

If he's talking about public policy outside of his hospital, he's just driving an even bigger trust wedge between patient and physician. Their jobs are hard enough with a complete fraud Anthony Fauci being propped up as a trustworthy figurehead for the healthcare industry. He should shut the frick up and stick to worrying about his hospital, his staff, and his patients.
