Saw that MeeMaw was “kicking off” her campaign again next week. Is she going to coast to another victory without even debating again? Hard to believe we could have a decade of her when she’s basically the GOP version of Biden. An old career politician that’s just propped up by advisors.

Anyone checked out the competition? Tim James, Lew Burdette, or Lindy Blanchard?

I am as red as they come and I can’t stand that old hag. Her voice is even even old and shaky and she sounds like a 90 year old woman talking. It’s ridiculous that someone like that is in a position of leadership on any level. She drug out the mask mandates and shut downs for no reason at all. Florida, Georgia and other states were opening back up and she was still waiting for no damn reason other than because she could. Her latyle of leadership is to wait and see what others do first then make a decision.

All I know is that the wife and I will not be voting for Ivey. That bitch locked us down, imposed mask mandates, and allowed the local health officers to run amok. frick her.

We can thank the previous Love Gov.(Bentley) for getting her in, since he resigned. I think had he finished his term the last race would have been wide open as Huntsville's Mayor Battle as a favorite. Instead she was an incumbent which is hard to beat.

Not at all a fan of Meemaw, but haven't yet looked at the field. Saw Tim James's introductory ad. It was well done. Always thought his dad did a fair job as governor. Who do you like?

Seeing her in person is eye opening. She really is pretty weak.

I just want to see her debate so she can defend the gas tax, lockdowns, etc. without a staffer putting a cue card in front of her. She dodged every debate in 2018 by lying about scheduling conflicts. Was literally handed the job because of Bentley so it would be nice to at least see someone make her earn the job for once.

Everyone says Ivey is popular but with whom? I don’t know anyone who is a die hard Ivey supporter. Like even to the level of putting a sign in their yard. Only people I know that like her have business with the state.

This is what pisses me off the most, it's like she's scare to pull the trigger on anything, my vote will go to someone different.

That's the problem with democracy, you have to wait for people to throw their hat in the ring. Wish the average man be more proactive in seeking and vetting normal folks to run.

I refuse to vote for that count. Among other things her handling of Covid pissed me off.

Tim James is the only other candidate that I'm remotely familiar with.

How old is MeeMaw? Do Alabamans have any reservations about her cognitive ability to govern the state?

I don’t know much about him but I was impressed with Lew Burdette when I heard him on Leland Live a few weeks ago. Didn’t sound like a yahoo and has an interesting story. Have only seen a little of Blanchard and wasn’t really impressed. Tim James has really dialed the faith angle up to a 10.

You have older people who are still scared shitless of covid because they just trust what their told about it. Those people will vote for Ivey. Unfortunately my mother is one of those lost in the covid madness (not a branch covidian though and is still very conservative).

Me either. Most Alabamians are dumb and she’ll prolly win.
I’m watching Zig Ziegler? just based on how well he organized LA to fight the toll on the Bay Way I-10 bridge. We’ll see, but I don’t know much about the rest other than Mee Maw and frick her.

I went to high school
With Lindy Blanchard. Trump appointed her ambassador during his term. I can remember what country.
