Anyone been to Dothan AL? City looks laid out well.

Saw the loop on our navigation as we were driving through Florida and thought it was cool. I’ve seen bigger cities like Atlanta situated like this, but never a small town.
I’m sure it’s country AF over there.

It has a sweet boll weevil statue, lol. That’s all I have

It's still a shite show getting through there headed to the beach.

I have a farm not far from it. Think it has a lot of Louisiana transplants because people can’t drive worth a shite in Dothan

that's Enterprise, not Dothan (about 30 minutes away)

True sign of someone from LA…and strangely enough, they’re usually donning an LSU sticker. Guarantee if someone is driving like shite in Uptown NOLA, or over here on the coast of MS…there’s an LSU sticker on the back.

That Enterprise, not Dothan. That loop is bumper to bumper 24/7. Traffic sucks, nice town though.

There's not much happening in Dothan. Industry is leaving and any chance of new industry is repelled by the fact that there is no Interstate access. The Ross Clark Circle (that's the loop road on the map) is not really a true "bypass". Most of the businesses in Dothan are built right on the circle so that's where the worst of the traffic is. The areas around Dothan are great, rural towns. Dothan itself has seen better days.

Oh, we’ll that’s the opposite from what I assumed. Looks like it’s laid out well at least.

It’s a decent city, but it’s been a decade or more since I’ve been

Having been to Dothan on many occasions it strikes me as the kind of place where most of its citizens are either alcoholic or Pentecostal—both of which are terrible behind the wheel of a car

It's not a terrible place. Spent the night there once on the way to the beach. Ate at a Waffle House. Didn't get shot. So automatically better than NOLA.

Of course Dothan, AL, would have a better road plan than Baton Rouge.

I grew up near there, it was the closest “big city.”
Most people my age couldn’t wait to get out, but they seem to be making their way back now. It’s not a bad place, and very close to beaches. There is zero opportunity in my field, there doesn’t seem to be much going on beyond govt, healthcare, manufacturing, service, etc.

Dothan has one of the highest current inbound vs outbound moving rates in the country.
