What area are you in?

Edit: you might be able to find someone to come to her home if all else fails.

Edit 2: sorry I missed the “br” .. wish I could help but I’m not in the area.

You could try calling perhaps one of the beauty/cosmetology schools in the area??

And bless you for trying to help her!

A friend had a salon in NOLA; he got tired of the city and switched to doing hair at retirement homes locally. He'd go to the home and do the same ladies week after week and he liked it. I'd go to his home for my cuts (as a long time customer).

You might contact retirement homes, ask if they've got a similar set up and if so, could your sister visit them and set up an appointment for her?

I highly suggest looking on Nextdoor, the app. Not everyone is a Karen on there and it’ll be more local to you. Best of luck!!

The biggest issue is washing her hair while in the wheelchair. Most salon shampoo bowls are connected to the chairs. If she doesn’t mind getting her hair cut dry we would love to have her at soho boutique salon off of Perkins. There is a wheelchair ramp from parking and plenty of room in salon :)

Nursing homes have salons inside.
Maybe one of those will open up to your sister?

So the stylist she goes to requires her to get out of her chair?

The girl I go to is maxed out and isn't taking new people, but I would assume more places would be willing to do it from her chair.
