Since I have NOT really been out of town for fun in almost 2 years...I decided I needed a night...so I looked at hotel prices in Opelousas (Evangeline Downs Casino), Marksville (Paragon), Biloxi, and New Orleans...

Holy shite...its 3 times what it used to be!

Anyone noticed this?

Yeah it’s kind of been a thing for a while now on weekends

I wouldn’t suggest looking at the prices for hotels or condos on the coast of Bama ir Florida from May through September either if you don’t like sticker shock. LOL

Yep. And this is why the supply chain narrative causing inflation is bs. Ain’t no hotel rooms stuck on ships waiting to be unloaded.

Too much money dumped into the system by the politicians.

FWIW, I got a hotel in Natchitoches at the Chateau Saint Dennis for $85 a night.

Hampton Inn in Murray, KY was $131.81 drive out for last night’s stay.
