Hard to say just yet, but in time there will be characters from it popping up in other places. It’s narrative structure is a bit different than most MCU, and cinematography is arguably the best in the entire universe with numerous spectacular shots. Establishes some interesting stories and characters that will definitely be explored again. Worth a watch imo.
I’d rank 2021 MCU:
1. No Way Home
2. Shang-Chi
3. Eternals
4. BW
Didn’t dislike any of them, but thought BW would have been more effective coming out in 2017 or 2018. Shang-Chi has some of the best fight choreography in the MCU and a fun new character who will clearly be joining the Avengers sooner than later. Crouching Tiger vibes at times throughout.

It was absolutely terrible. I stopped an hour into it and debated whether to finish. I did. Just felt so manufactured. So much happening and so little emotional investment. The attempts at comedy were awful. So many talented actors and such bad performances.

It was easily one of the worst marvel movies.

I thoroughly enjoyed Shang Chi.

I'll watch it, but based on the reviews I am not expecting to be blown away by it. It's just another entry in the Marvel Universe.

Watching Eternals now.
Outside of Spiderman, it seems very phase 4 movie so far has just been world-building filler. We'll see how Eternals holds up.

I may watch it sometime this week. The trailers didn't wow me. I didn't really get great reviews. I had plans on watching it in theaters, but it wasnt a high priority. By the time I finally got around to it, it was no longer being shown.

Ok movie. The introduction of the celestials (not including Ego and small snippets we have gotten from Guardians of the Galaxy) and their scale was

Just watched. Very meh

Hey OP, can you add a spoilers tag to this thread? I think it's going to turn that way pretty soon.

I saw it at the theater, and it’s a bottom five Marvel movie to me. Maybe bottom three. Worst Marvel movie of the four to come out in 2021
One thing that was really cool that I read, was that in Chloe Zhao’s cut, that Celestial that comes out of the earth gets fully formed, the Eternals get in their ship and fly away, and that Celestial destroys the world. Feige opted to go another way![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

The wife and I just finished watching this and, uh, it wasn't good.

Was the best marvel film of 2021. Fight me.

Externals was fine. Ignore the oversensitive comic book nerds.

What a giant piece of shite PC movie. Black man is gay. Women ruling. Evil white man seeking vengeance/power or whatever. Very slow overall. “Jokes” are terrible. Power levels of the Eternals are weak. Just an all-around bad movie.

I enjoyed the movie. It was decent. A bit long at times
But still the best Marvel movie that I've seen in 2022.
