If there was ever a year to go back to New York City for the draft this would be it. Enquiring minds want to know if Giants and Jets fans would just pull half of their hair out of their heads after hearing their first first round pick and the rest after hearing the second first round pick or would they pull all of their hair out of their head after hearing the first first round pick and pull the remaining dry scalp off their head after hearing the second first round pick.

You have to think that at the time Philadelphia was banking on at least the Miami spot being a better pick, likely the Indy one as well though

Not really, Miami had pieces and draft picks so thought they would be mid teens at the time. As for Indy, many had them in the playoffs once the trade happened some even said winning the division. Think the fact they didn’t make it actually turned theirs into a better pick than what was originally expected.

Miami was supposed to be a playoff team this year.

the Indy pick was only to be a 1st round pick if Wentz met certain performance goals and he did...before falling off a cliff the past month.

I hate that teams can tank for draft picks. If I ran the league, this draft order would be reversed, so teams who are out of the playoffs are still fighting for draft position.

So is the AFC south the worst division?

Why, so Dallas and the NY/LA teams can magically get the #1 pick when they go 8-9 and barely miss the playoffs? No thanks.

Based on draft value chart, Eagles still easily won the trade though. Dolphins giving up an additional first round pick to move up from #12 to #6 for a non-QB pick is a ridiculous overpay.

meh, if the NBA hasn't done this since Ewing, I don't see it being a big deal.

As a Seahawks fan, this makes me nauseous.

The teams with the top 2 picks both won yesterday pretty bad tanking if that’s what they were doing

Eagles are in a prime spot if Hurts can be their guy.

The Jags and Lions tanked so hard yesterday that they *checks notes* both won their meaningless games

Not to mention the Texans gave the #1 seed in the AFC a run for their money yesterday.
