Police responding to two BR shootings minutes apart Sunday morning

I live in a “ safe” neighborhood. If I take out my trash at 10 pm I’m carrying. At night, the bad guys now roam the “ safe” neighborhoods. That’s new. Whatever is happening, it’s escalating and it feels different now than it did 2 years ago. I think 2022 we see an increase in home invasions and other crimes in the best zip codes in the city.

It took BRPD 2 hours to respond to an attempted break in at my place a few months ago and I live downtown
They had the balls to tell me to lock myself in my bedroom and call them if they come back

This has been happening FOREVER. Don’t know which utopian cloud you’re on. Is it more prevalent than it used to be, probably, but to think thugs going into good neighborhoods is new is quite naive
