Another top recruit just committed to play for Deion at Jackson State

SAN ANTONIO - St. Louis (Mo.) St. Mary's Top247 receiver Kevin Coleman has committed to Deion Sanders and Jackson State during the fourth quarter of the All-American Bowl. Coleman chose the HBCU over his other finalists Oregon, USC, Miami and Florida State.
“I really stamped my final decision (Friday),” Coleman said. “Really just talked to my parents, told them the decision I was making was to be different to make my own legacy, to make change.”
Another shocker for Deion Sanders and his staff as they flipped Travis Hunter from Florida State late in the process.
247Sports National Analyst Allen Trieu compares Coleman’s game to that of Jaylen Waddle. He led St. Mary’s to a state title as a senior and is tabbed by the 247Sports Composite as the nation's No. 4 receiver, No. 1 prospect in Missouri and No. 44 prospect overall.

PWI fans salty because they lost another runaway.

Cool, now are they gonna start scheduling some legit OOC FBS/P5 opponents?

You think the reason JSU doesn’t play more FBS/P5 is because they don’t want to? They would have every non-conference game be against FBS/P5 if it were up to them. That’s how those school’s entire athletic budgets are paid for. They’ll literally play anyone anywhere that they are given the opportunity to play.

Jackson State’s athletic budget is about $7.7 Million. The lowest P5 athletic budget is probably right above $50 Million.
SLIGHT disadvantage.
