This is exciting as hell to watch. And I know folks complain about the crowds a lot, but they sounded pretty damn loud to me.

An absolute dumb turnover on the pass...bailed out by great effort. I can confirm the last flurry was as loud a single moment as I've heard there in a while. Credit to the student section. They are finally, consistently, bringing it this year

Made an otherwise rough day as a Tiger quite enjoyable. That was something else. I love the fight in this team.

People were complaining about the crowd but after our game they showed highlights of duke and Cameron indoor had big gaps of empties.

I'm still hoarse after last night! The crowd did quiet after UK's 9-0 to open 2nd half, but a time out, finally guarded #31, we got back into it!

Taking that into account, it still is a different feel than when you see noted loud SEC crowds like Auburn and Arkansas and Kentucky on a broadcast. Our environment isn't on that consistent level yet, but it was still pretty good last night. Too many long stretches with quiet crowd, though, especially when Kentucky was on their run coming out of halftime.
Still, when the team needed the fans at the end of the game, you could hear it and it was glorious. If we can sustain that energy throughout the game it will make it exceedingly tough on visiting teams this season. We've got a great team playing great basketball and putting great fan energy on top of that is a lot to deal with. Boot up! Geaux Tigers!

Kudos to Mwani W. for 2 big plays in that segment. Looks like he is the one that lifted high to catch the Ky pass and flipped it in mid air to Pinson for the breakaway dunk, and blocked the last 3 pt attempt at the very end.
