If you scroll down to the second video, it shows the opening of the time capsule which surprisingly is a smallish size box probably 20”x10” or so and it weighs between 10-20 lbs
They’ve found two books and a letter in a cloth envelope so far. It’s super cool if you’re into history

It's almost like they knew the assholes would eventually come for it.

It will need to be burned and the ashes scattered in an undisclosed location. it is racist.

Could not destroying the contents of this box explain the rampant crime in NOLA?

We will never know, the disadvantaged there would steal it to pawn.

TBoy will happily light the match for the book-cooking bonfire they'll throw it on because he thinks this is meaningful progress

See if they happen to have the password for the Premium board. It’s got to exist somewhere.

Was thinking the same thing.. they tore the statues down but crime is still way up.
Now we know the soul and true power of the statue lie in a lockbox in the base

I will assume rampant racism or white supremacy until proven otherwise.

Any of these pre-1900 statues need some sort of historical designation to protect them from being demolished.
