Late 70’s and 80’s they talked about ice age and we would freeze over.
Then it was still during the tail end of the Cold War and Russian was going to nuke us.
I thought we were going to heat up and the glaciers were melting.
Now it still is Russia Russia Russia.

Don't you understand? That global warming stuff is so unpredictable that it must be contained with tax dollars. first we'll boil in the heat then we'll freeze in ice, it's just not acceptable to live in fear.

It's just another case that shows "climate change" as seen by the left is far more murky than they're willing to admit. Except their version of climate change isn't about the climate, it's about control.

Accounting for both surface melting and discharge of icebergs, the Greenland ice sheet lost around 166bn tonnes of ice over the 12-month period ending in August. This means that 2021 is the 25th year in a row where Greenland has lost more ice than it gained.

Putting aside climate change and politics I do think we should try to pollute our environment less i.e. carbon capture. Do you think cancer alley is a myth? Is carbon capture a ban worthy word on TD?

When these climate blowhards practice what they preach.. I may believe them. But when Al Gore jets around privately, lives in a mansion, and his heated pool uses more electricity than my family, I don’t give a damn about his alarmism.

I am for environmental conservatism. Less polluting of toxic emissions, industrial/ commercial waste water disposal, trash management. Conserving our finite resources as well.
It's easy to see the sins of the past i.e. The Love Canal, industrial disposal wells, locally Bayou Trepagnier.
My issue is just how much should governments be involved. When the leaders of the world get together to determine what level of restrictions should be placed on companies and individuals and they don't include the world's largest polluter, everything they say is simply bullshite.
If the US and Europe were as serious about the environment as they say they are, they would globally boycott China until they comply.
It's easy to see the sins of the past i.e. The Love Canal, industrial disposal wells, locally Bayou Trepagnier.
