Folks, over the next ten years Brian Kelly is about to show us what Saban could’ve built if he would’ve stayed.

That’s a reason his age was not a concern of mine. If he’s winning he’s not going anywhere.

Makes you really wonder. By the way, what ever happened to that Saban guy?

I want to believe.

Can you show me where a 60 year old coach went to a school and won his first title? And then went on a run of multiple titles as you’re suggesting?

Scott Woodward got the job at A&M to bring in a new FB coach. Over his 7 year Aggie career Sumlin only averaged 8.5 wins per year. So Jimbo fired him and paid one of his best friends $75M to fix the problem. 4 years later Jimbo is averaging 8.5 wins per year. And Woodward tried to pay his friend $125M to come here and do the same thing.
So to be perfectly clear Woodward, this guy y’all treat as a God, went out and got the backup plan to his overpaid mediocre original go to and y’all think he’s gonna change the landscape of college FB starting at age 60?!?!

Yes well jimbo fisher would win a natty at LSU so ther is that.. if you do not think Kelly is a home run hire then you are ignoring his record.

No one likes to admit it, but no one knows what will happen.

I can turn take your question in a different way: has a head coach that was on the edge of making it into the CFP, 11-1, and ranked 6th in the country ever left that position for a team that is .500?

Blow it out your arse! His title is at least average for this board, and I'm so sick of pathetic long-time posters who think their post count is a virtue.

Dude! Let us have our Honeymoon Period before you tinkle in our roux.

You have to admit he's a major step up from what we've had here as head coach over the last 17 years.

Saban was 56 when he started at Alabama in 2007.

He is 70 years old now.

People dont understand this because he's not a "good ole boy" system... They've forgotten what Saban did for the program and gifted Miles with.

CBK will get us back to that level quickly, and I can't wait.
