This might seem like an odd question do you think they fly to shreveport or monroe or drive and work all the prospects in between those areas of shreveport and monroe?

I was wondering that myself. To save travel time I guess they could fly to all the municipal airports at the smaller locations and have rides waiting, but I don’t know.
I would assume they’d use a twin prop for that to accommodate the shorter runways.

I'm assuming they flew, based on the limited window we have right now and we probably haven't used nearly all of our recruiting budget for the year.

Other than Ruston there's not much between Shreveport and Monroe. A lot of small schools that rarely produce DI talent. Benny Logan from Coushatta was the last one from around there. Of course Jaray Jenkins currently but Jena is nowhere close to Shreveport and not all that close to Monroe.

Since you mentioned this, did Bastrop stop producing talent like they used to?

Yeah their main employer closed and their population plummeted

Ouch. That IP mill was pretty much the only thing there. Didn’t know it closed.
There used to be a pretty good bbq place there called Slaydens I would go to years ago.

Bastrop, sadly, is like a third world country these days.

Probably depends on how many prospects are in between. They probably flew to Shreveport, then drove to Monroe, then will fly out of Monroe to wherever they are going next.

Most of their talent is at Sterlington and Heard is at Neville.

Sounds like West Monroe fell off too? Haven’t heard much from there recently either.
I’m sure a lot has changed since I was in that area.

West Monroe has some talent, they’re coaching is an issue. They have a DB that just committed to Tulane after decommitting from Tech. They have a safety who decommitted from TCU and looks to be heading to Vandy.

No. They just sent NeVille a 4* OT. Lance Heard

Jim, you forgot about Bolden and Mathis. I know folks don't think much of Bolden, but Mathis is an absolute STUD that should have been in P&G.
Point is, just because they didn't come to LSU, doesn't mean the schools aren't producing talent.

I meant the stretch in between Shreveport and Monroe. Monroe, and to a lesser extent Shreveport, produce a lot of talent.
