Wonder what side she will come out on if one of the offenders is injured by this security she speaks of?

Chicago mayor blames retailers for not doing enough to fight organized theft

quote:

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot blamed retailers for not making safety a priority amid a string of smash-and-grab thefts at retail stores in recent months. "We still have retailers that won't institute plans like having security officers in their stores, making sure that they've got cameras that are actually operational, locking up their merchandise at night, chaining high-end bags. These purses can be something that is attracting a lot of organized retail theft units," Lightfoot said Monday.

Someone tell her black people are looting because they are allowed to loot. Hell, they've changed the laws in cities to promote the shite (higher $ value before charges, low or no bail required, etc). I mean that's what every single video of "organized robbery" has shown.

Maybe somebody should show this lying sack of ugly shite a few videos. She knows the problem. Just doing what they do and blame it on something else. It's what they always do.

Pretty simple I think.

I've seen many black people talking on how these looting assholes make them all look bad. They have a very valid point.

I'm confused. Wouldn't this bitch say these retailers are being racist if they do this?

From a certain position, she's right. Corporations punish people for defending their stores. But that's related to insurance company pressure and also laws regarding self defense and liability. Stores are in a catch 22. All they can do ultimately is move. No way some racebaiting black lesbian radical is going to let stores start shooting people when they mob department stores, which is really what needs to happen.

The minute some retailer decked some worthless pile of human skin on camera, Beetlejuice would be calling for justice, equity, and more programs.

The only solution is to move.

If the city won’t allow you to prosecute theft, why go through the expense of heavier prevention?

This is like telling a bunch of women in an Islamic country who are getting forcibly raped that they aren’t doing enough to fight back.

“You should keep 2 male witnesses with you at all times!”

Sounds like retailers should be protecting their merchandise with guns

Depending on the area, the security people may steal more than the thieves.

Ultimately, voters who continue to support radical leftist candidates deserve what they get. That goes for the store owners and everyday citizens. You guys supported this.

They won't be high end if people are afraid to go downtown because they're going to be killed, either. The solution is to move to safer districts or cities and let the rabble shoot each other, since that's what they enjoy doing.
