We must wish that player good luck, and move on. BECAUSE THATS THE CULTURE WE ARE GETTING RID OF.

Completely agree, 100%

The only person who gets to have an opinion at Alabama is the head coach. The way it should be when you have an alpha for a HC.

CEO allowed the inmates to run the asylum which created toxic culture
Not one player or coach is bigger than the LSU program.

Time for a rebuild as I support kids who want to wear the purple & gold

I guess it worked for Will so it’ll definitely encourage other recruits to do the same.

It’s a legit saying. Why would it change?

Even Campbell didn't put it like that. He said that he hoped Davis would be kept, but that was far from an ultimatum. I had no problem with it.

I think the truth lies somewhere in between. His deleted tweet was more like "Keep Brad Davis!!!".

It's always the former players years removed that remember their time with that coach

You're reading too much into it. Campbell (just like the rest of the '22 recruits) is a 17-18 year old young athlete. He has always been and always will be a Tiger. He and Howard have been LSU's top recruiters for the past 18 months. He didn't give anyone an ultimatum. He simply stated, "Keep Brad Davis". He probably deleted it after realizing that it could've been interpreted to be a threat. I imagine that these kids have had lots going through their heads over the past 9 weeks; especially over the past couple with no named coach and early signing day around the corner. Plus he, Howard, and a few others are enrolling early; so there's that too.

Nonetheless, Campbell may have made a mistake. Doesn't change the fact that he wants to be at LSU. You're going to get more loyalty and commitment out if him and Howard than 1/2 last year's team. Have they waivered any? Any at all while the coach they knew (and recruited them) was fired; yet coached 6 more games? While they sat around and waited on the administration to announce the new coach? I don't think so. Heck, neither of them even took an official visit anywhere else.

Anyway, may point is that they're kids. There doesn't have to be a "hidden meaning" behind any/all of their statements (whether on social media or in conversation). We, LSU, need these boys. they have already proven their loyalty and commitment to LSU no matter who the coaches are. In my opinion, these are the signs of CHAMPIONS!
