but LSU/CBK will make a huge mistake if they don't hire Joe Brady, if he is available and wants to return to college football. I know many have said his heart is in the NFL, and I can understand that, but if he has had his go in the NFL, like Saban, and wants to make huge money, college football will be his place imho.
He didn't get a fair shake with the Oline, McCafferty injury, lack of QB talent at Carolina. I would gladly take Brady back as I think he is on top of today's offensive game. I hope he is willing to give LSU his next 3-5 years of great success.

Joe Brady had 1 great year (where he was neither the play caller nor the OC) with a bunch of pro bowlers and maybe a hall of fame QB.

The only other data point we have is him failing at Carolina and getting fired.

Stop acting like this guy is a sure thing.

The obsession with Joe Brady on this board is tiresome.

Standard Brady sycophant logic.
quote:

He didn't get a fair shake with the Oline, McCafferty injury, lack of QB talent at Carolina.

Blame the lack of talent around him for his failure as OC.

But they don’t credit the talent around him as passing coordinator. Let’s see: best QB of current century, multiple fantastic receivers, a power running game, solid offensive line play, and an experience OC for a mentor.

I think Brady MAY be a great OC or even HC in P5 and/or NFL SOMEDAY, but he’s not ready for prime time, YET.

Stop this OC LSU train wreck.

Let us remember this post when whoever Kelly hires as OC turns out to be very successful.

There are other people out there who can run an offense, believe it or not.

That one "great" year happens to be the "Greatest" in college football history. Brady PUT Chase, Marshall, Jefferson, Clyde in position to be a bunch of pro bowlers as you say. For the first time in LSU History, you got maximum production from the every skill position player and that by chance happened while Joe Brady was here. Haven't happened since.

Brady struck gold with an NFL offense in college. 1st overall pick QB, 1st round RB and three top 3 round wrs.

Dude runs the same shite other RPO guys run. He isn't the fricking god y'all make him out to be.

He has a 50/50 chance of being a great OC, but there’s only a 30% chance of that.
