Marriage/Engagement Etiquette Question

I have a friend. Mid-40s. He’s getting married for third time. This is her third marriage too. No pics. You wouldn’t want them. They just got engaged. I would think you would just get married and skip the engagement in their situation. Am I wrong?

They should go to the courthouse, get married, and then just throw a big party with free booze rather than make everyone go through the wedding process again.

Do most people have an engagement period in their situation? Yes. They are trashy.

Yeah I'd think you'd just have a small ceremony with family or go elope at that point.
I think my SIL stopped having weddings after #2

the wedding wont last much longer then the marriage so why bother, just go to courthouse and get it done then tell your friends after

So you think they should just rush right in this time?

He should just tell her goodbye now and set half his stuff on fire.

Didn't they learn from their first two times?

People look for any excuse to get free shite. I wouldn’t even go to the wedding. After 3 marriages, there’s no point in celebrating.

I see not one question in that statement.

Vociferously fingerbang the fiancée for an engagement present.
