If UGa can't get this done, does Kirby lose more luster?

I mean, the guy is the recruiting equivalent of a workout warrior, but really has trouble with either development or evaluation of QB, and thus far, despite stockpiling studs, hasn't gotten over the top.

And Damn, Bryce Young is good - the release and arm strength as well as field awareness is something else (I hate all things Alabama, just making an observation).

This whole year has felt like UGA and everybody else. If he can't win it all this year, then when?

I don't see Georgia parting ways with him anytime soon, he just can't beat Saban

Smart has had every opportunity to go out and get an OC that can is running a modern fast paced spread offense.

His entire tenure has been predicated on feeding 4 different running backs with casual QB play.

You can see the straight up difference in having a great QB and attacking style offense.

Offense is literally everything today.
Stetson hasn't played bad but he isn't balling like Young. And that's because he's extremely limited.

Hell yea he does. As much as I hate to see Alabama win, we know who Nick Saban is and everyone else does too. It would be hard to see Kirby take the torch from him and possibly go on an Alabama-esque run at UGA and it would be really bad for LSU.

After watching the pre-game, his team literally can’t get any more talented or cohesive than it is right now, if he can’t win it with this group he won’t ever do it. There’s a deficiency in his coaching somewhere or he’s just a dumbass who can’t handle pressure

Technically this game doesn't matter much for uga in the grand scheme of winning a title this year as they will make the playoffs, but gotta be demoralizing nevertheless to lose to bama with your GOAT team

Absolutely. This is an embarrassing and program-weakening loss.

I do think they’d have a good chance in a rematch but to lay an egg like this is real bad. And how is that their QB?

Absolutely. This was a dominating year but if you can't beat your mentor when UGA is this good, when will you ever?

Kirby has to be the most overrated coach in the country.

His only competency is buying recruits. That's all he can do. But he's a mediocre coach at best.

Kirby has always been a pretender. The media blows Georgia every year, then they go down like a sinking ship.

Kirby will be able to do it eventually.

He's young & Saban is 70. The smart thing to for UGA is to just wait out Saban.

Kirby isn't going anywhere
