Is it true Ramaswami’s parents were illegals when they came to US?

I was hearing some pundits talk and they said that his parents moved here from India illegally. This means he was granted citizenship the same way he is proposing stopping granting citizenship to the kids of illegals born here. This guy should just step out of the way. The field has to be narrowed down. Let Nicki and Ron fight to decide who wants to be #2 for the election.

So let me see if I understand this. His parents entered illegally and he was born here as a US citizen. Now as an adult he recognizes the system is broken and is advocating for needed reform. If I'm understanding your post correctly you find this hypocritical. Personally, I find it refreshing.

Ok. I fact checked myself. It looks like they immigrated legally but we’re not citizens when he was born. His mother has taken a citizenship test his father has not.

That is a good thing, not a bad thing, if it is true. Nobody can question his stance since he is admitting it is a benefit he should not have had.

I think this is false. But, assuming it is true, it's irrelevant. He wasn't even born yet and has no responsibility for his parents' actions.
A person can grow up on welfare, and be against the welfare system.
A person can be the child of illegals, and be against illegal immigration.
Etc.

This is akin to moving to a brand new subdivision and then voting against any development.

His dad was an engineer and his mom was a psychiatrist. Not the typical folks you see trying to sneak across the border.

I thought his parents were on visas when he was born?
Nothing wrong with that.
It's a legal status.
Pay taxes.
Can't own a gun.
If frick up, get deported.
I'd still say those on visas are "subject to the jurisdiction of the United States".
I don't see the issue if true.
Weren't Jindals parents on visas too?

Indians don’t want to have their reputation as “the good kind of immigrants” ruined by bringing in lesser castes. Same reason why England’s Home Secretary went on an anti-diversity rant… while being Indian herself

Please point to me (an actual legal immigrant to this country from Mexico) where the immigration process is broken?
I’ll hang up and wait!!

Vivek was born in Cincinnati-- he's a legit Midwestern citizen. No did for Trump or anyone else to trump up some concocted birth certificate

I mean it's not his fault he was born here. he is an American. And if he doesnt want anchor babies anymore, then thats what he wants.

I don’t trust Vivek but this would be a non-issue even if true.

For marxist democrats, it is broken because there aren't enough millions coming into this country to sway enough elections so that they control all the levers in government.
For shitbag republicans, there aren't enough millions coming in to depress wages to satisfy their Chamber of Commerce cronies.
Which is why we have the problem we have at our southern border. Both parties want more criminal illegals here, just for different reasons, and neither party gives two shits about what it does to the country or the taxpayer.
