A good long format interview with a (liberal) researcher who has developed a platform to collect google data and watch how Google has been watching and directing you. The TLDR version is he has been creating this platform and will soon release it. The interview talks about how Google goes about targeting voters and redirecting those as well as squashing competing views/interests.
Really top notch interview i think many on here will enjoy and if you find his research helpful you may consider giving a small donation to keep it going.

Want a good example how they track your way of thinking and search? Go to msn.com and look how things line up with things you searched. The politics is what is scary. It's a prime example of how these websites track your every move.

Being retired, I generally read across the political spectrum daily. I used to use Google News before Trump was elected because it gave you a couple of dozen slots for news sites to track. I'd load it up with my usual conservative sites and the result was a balance interspersed with what Google would put up.
After Trump beat Hillary, that all changed dramatically. My former favorites got turned into links to trash blogs that were critical of my sites.
Now I just maintain a bunch of bookmarks directly to the sites I want to visit. I still browse Google and Bing news too, but they have become entirely predictably demprog.
