For the Record I voted for him 2x...having said that I absolutely believe and affirm that Transgender ideology should NOT be taught to children under any circumstance. If a parent consents to Transgender ideology being taught to their kids it is child abuse. My question to you is this. Do you agree with Trumps statement in the vid where he condones Transgender ideology being taught to children with parental consent?

Shouldn't be involved with our education at all.
My only problem with trump is all this shite he says is great but the rise of this ideology and transformation of our classrooms to this ideological battlefield happened under his watch.
I appreciate the active role Desantis has taken in education and bills he's signed to limit and remove as much of this trash as he can

I don't care. This is nothing but a distraction. Once China moves on Taiwan, our focus will change and these sideshows will fade.

This is a fallacy. Yeah once we hit WWIII / the next Great Depression no issue is relevant. Applies to abortion, taxes, crime 2nd amendment, etc. Guess that all those other issues don't matter because of this hypothetical event which may or may not occur at a time we aren't sure about.

I didn't click on the link, but I believe all educational issues are state issues. I believe the US Dept of Ed should be disbanded. As such, it would be hypocritical to want DeSantis, as President, to have his Dept of Ed ban anything. I would support any governor banning trans education being taught in schools.
I feel Trump has a good understanding of what is a state issue vs fed issue, and would probably stay out of the issue on a fed level.

So he’s fine with it in the classroom if parents are ok with it…..so what happens when you are in California and it’s half and half or the normal parents are in the minority?
As Lou said in this thread he clearly doesn’t really care about this issue he just knows he has to say something to get elected.

You do realize that w/o consent topic is not an automatic okay to have if with consent, right? He’s attacking the hidden agenda of these people. If a consenting adult has this problem of mental illness then that’s a whole other issue. OMB is not condoning it transitioning

I'm not a trump supporter, but i believe children should be taught about gender and sexuality regardless of parent beliefs. there's no such thing as gender ideology it's just kids learning that lgbt+ people exist.
