My barber.

I was surprised, but he says it’s the best way to vote. Easy.

I like it.
I don't like standing in line for anything, no less hoping the guy behind me who sneezed doesn't have flu or cv19.

It should be restricted to our Service men and women or invalids. Most who do are neither.

The chronically lazy or those that are “too busy” to get their asses to the polls.

NEWS FLASH: voting is not a priority to these assholes and I wish politicians would stop catering to these MFers.

Mine is no liberal, but he’s rather talk football than politics.

But my point is regular guys vote by mail too. It’s just not lefties, and nut jobs, and if you just blow this tool off because you don’t like it you are hurting your cause.

And for the record, I have early voted in person and voted on Election Day in person, but never mailed in my vote.

absentee ballot-the military & dependents especially when overseas, invalids or just had surgery, handicapped...

mail in ballots should only have been for the emergency pandemic.

the dems kept them in some States as a way to harvest votes and vote many times from PO Boxes. The dems do Drop offs of piles of MICKEY MOUSE ballots in the middle of the night.

People who value their own time and appreciate convenience?

They probably also send emails rather than writing letters, and shop online to a much greater extent than those who insist upon driving to the precinct polling place ... and only ON Election Day.

There is no inherent nobility in voting by the most-onerous means legally-available to you. It does NOT make you morally-superior to those who choose a more-convenient, legal method of voting. Nonetheless, this thread will be FILLED with posts suggesting otherwise.

What you are ACTUALLY saying is that you understand your views to not have majority support, so you want to assure that only those who SHARE your views will cast a ballot.

Candidly, I feel the same way, but I am honest about it. It is the same reason that I have no problem with Voter ID. I don't hide behind trite claims about "protecting the integrity of the polling place." Those who have an ID are more likely to vote like me, so I support Voter ID.

I don't think voting should be overly burdensome but there should be at least a minimal amount of effort required.

The entire state of Oregon. I had to vote by mail there because it was the only way.

Why?

Is a lazy person any less a citizen than you? Does the Constitution seek to exclude "lazy people" from voting?
