Good first episode, drug a little in the middle but they gotta set stuff up, I get it.
How far is this season suppose to go? Or this show in general?
One episode in and we’re already over 1/2 way done with the 1981 season, plus the opening scene was game one of the 1984 finals, so are we covering 3 NBA seasons in this season?

One of the best HBO shows lately. I enjoyed "Air" but this is better. I like the casting.

I recall S1 starting with the Magic HIV press conference.
I wouldn't read too much into the opening bit.

Season 2 will cover 1981-1984. Only 7 episodes which is disappointing.
Season 1 covered 1989-1980 in 10 episodes.

I love that because it is on HBO they seemingly changed the name from the original book title. Couldn't call something "Showtime" if it's on HBO
