I put a Pioneer NEX series in my truck. CarPlay, HD radio, backup camera, cd/DVD. It's been a great upgrade.

Whatever name brand (Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood ect) Crutchfield has in stock in your price range. The under $700 reputable brands head units have been in short supply for about a year now.

I got a Sony from Crutchfield. Can’t remember the model. Bought an old work truck and got too spoilt by backup cameras and apple carplay I had to buy something with a screen. Crutchfield is great because you can order the harness connect for your vehicle and there is no splicing wires. A few minutes to install.

i have a ~$400 pioneer in my backup vehicle, it has apple car play, and a hands free mic.
