Leesville Police looking for woman missing since Mother’s Day

"Kayla Ann Cooley This is Shelby’s mom! I want to start by saying no matter what she is my daughter and I love her unconditionally. No matter what Shelby has always contacted me. She also is the mother of 3 beautiful boys that love and miss their momma, 2 brothers and a sister, grandparents, a dad and step mom, uncles, aunts and an abundance of other family and friends that love her and want her found safe. Some people such as myself has no clue what drugs do to people. I’m not certain it has anything to do with drugs because she had just passed a drug test and was taking treatment to be a better momma for her boys. As far as Cory being a suspect weeks prior to their disappearance he had put bruises on my 4 yr old grandson also a witness came forward and said he saw Cory put my daughters head in the back glass of her car. With that being said...you decide suspect or no suspect?? Why Cory hasn’t been reported missing..that would be something you would need to ask his family. I reported my daughter missing because this is something that has never happened before and I was and still am concerned. Her being gone and us not knowing is the worst feeling a mom could have. All I ask is that you pray and help me find my daughter. This could be your daughter, mother, sister. Thank you!!"

I’ve met her before. My kid played little league with one of her ex’s kids a few years back. Think he’s in jail now too. If not in presently, I know he’s been in and out.

Leesville is surrounded by millions of acres of woods. Old baw has a good sized 4 wheeler and could have put her miles off of a road.

Also, from what her mom was saying, it sounds like drug use was prolific for both of them.
