An evaluation of each state based on wages, quit rates, commute times, working hours, injuries, paid time off, and state positivity levels.

From most happy to most unhappy:
1. Alaska

13. California

21. Louisiana
29. Mississippi
32. Arkansas
37. Tennessee
45. Alabama
48. Florida
49. Texas
50. Georgia

WSB-TV

Anyone notice how these types of polls are all inconsistent with each other?

"Happiest" and "no better options" overlap quite a bit here I would guess.

Not quiting doesn't necessarily mean you like your job.

Might have no options

I’m gonna say it has lots to do with pay per hour and the amount of hours that are required for a days work.

At a certain pay rate, i will pretty much do anything on earth with a smile.

I'd imagine that most of those are Native suicides.

Yes it's so miserable in Texas and Florida that people are flocking to those places in record numbers.

Polls like this are stupid.
How can you lump together a CPA in Birmingham with a chicken house worker in Choctaw County, Alabama?

The happiest jobs in America are the jobs that get to work from home.

Maybe but working from home would make me miserable. Different strokes I suppose.
