This thing was a staple of every summer trip to Florida growing up. It was the first fun landmark we'd get so excited to see. Holding our breath, or attempting to while going through the Mobile Tunnel and War Ship are also high on the list of memories.

Same, we'd always watch for it on the way to my Grandma's.

The good ole days. Now I bet kids just keep staring at their ipad when going through the tunnel.

I'd add on to it, build a draw bridge and get some cannons for it.

That is like the custom car someone spends a boat load of money on but when it comes time to sell it they have to find the one other human being in the world willing to pay even 20% of what it cost to build it.

For children of the 80’s, this thing was legendary.

It was trying to fall over, into the swamp, at one point in the 90s, I think. At the time the owner was told to tear it down. They called him daft, that you couldn’t renovate a castle in a swamp. But,….look at it now!

I have lots of Irish family and friends. That is what their castles look like.

Seems legit.

80’s would pass that thing making the run from The Dell over to Lake Forest Plaza, before it eventually went downhill. The castle was always a cool thing.

Anyone else feel this looks like it's part of some toy set?

Typical real estate agent photo trickery. Should be illegal.
