BATON ROUGE - The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating an alleged road rage incident that ended in gunfire off Siegen Lane Sunday night.
Ashley Mitchell said she was driving on Siegen when a black Acura with tinted windows was tailgating her. She said she pulled over so they could pass. When they didn't, she said she exited off by North Mall Drive, where the car got next to her and opened fire.
Mitchell showed us the bullet hole in her door handle. She filmed videos as East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's detectives removed the door panel of her car and retrieved the bullet that was still lodged in her door. "It sounded like a rock hit my car, and when I got out to see what it was...it was a bullet hole in my car," Mitchell said. "I was just in total shock."
Mitchell said she was on her way to the store when this happened, and it rattled her. "I had my kids in the car," Mitchell said. "I pulled over to see if there as a bullet hole. In fact there was a bullet hole in the handle of my car."
Mitchell said she did not know the men that did it, but both of them were wearing military fatigues.
"I want you found, prosecuted and to understand that you could have taken my life, my kids' life and it's wrong on so many levels," Mitchell said. "I want you brought to justice. This is something I'll never forget for the rest of my life."

I saw that on the news and people have lost their freaking mind. I’m glad the mom or her kids in the back seat didn’t get shot.

Is this what they write when they're trying to insinuate the perps were white?

All I was doing was dancing through my day, happy with life, love in my heart for the world, and these ogres shot my car for absolutely no reason.
I am not saying she deserved to be shot at but what did she do to piss them off to the point of chancing prison?
Wait, is this BR City jurisdiction? I see unsolved in her future.

I am guessing that they rolled down the window to shoot the gun!????

Has to be more to the story than this, but it doesn’t matter. No one should get shot at due to road rage, ever.

Dont get in the way of Guardsmen trying to leave the Armory on a Sunday.
Also, Im 100% certain they're Guard or Reserve recruited from local BTR Highschools.

If she got off the interstate to go to Walmart and turn left as she said, where the hell did she pull over to let them pass her when they simply "didn't pass"?
I bet she got in right lane to "let them pass" right as they got in that same right lane to pass her, cutting them off. No reason to shoot at someone but that makes more sense as to why they may have been raging.

She misleading the cops about something. Even late, Seigen is busy. No one else saw it? Also, "it sounded like a rock hit the car", what about the gun? Random guys in fatigues had a silencer?
