Aussie police tase 95 year old woman to death.

They tased her because she was holding a steak knife. When she started moving towards them, USING HER WALKER, they fired the taser.

What a bunch of pussies.

I’ll store this one away as a preferred way to end it all if I reach age 95 and have dementia. In fact I’m adding it to my final requests.

Not one of the cop haters here have ever been faced with someone holding a knife that they needed to disarm. Even a 95 year old with a walker can get in a lucky slash or stab. I don’t know whether this cop was too hasty or not, but you can’t just let a demented person walk around other people waving a knife. The situation has to end quickly and a taser is the safest way to disarm them.

Is no one going to ask why a demented person was allowed a steak knife at a nursing home?

Because she is 95 and can probably barely lift said steak knife. There were definitely easier ways to subdue a 95 y/o woman.

How hard would it be for an able bodied man to stay out of harms way in this situation until he could step in and disarm the woman. Especially if wearing body armor like most cops use when on duty in today's environment.

I'm 70 and have relatives in that kind of shape being physically impaired and I'm damn sure I could manage to not get stabbed if in the same situation. But I wasn't raised to be a "soy boy", so there's that.

Take it from her! There is no justification for this.
