I'll start i been with the same Organization for close to 10 years and every two weeks i'm pulling in like 8.25 hours. Most of the folks i work with have been with the organization like 20 or 25 years and they pulling down like 12 hours PTO a paycheck.
They take week of vacation every month. Am I making avg PTO? good? just wanted to see what everyone else is getting? You retired guys can chime in what you were getting? and the OT ballers no need to post

25 days of work off/year seems pretty good. Basically 5 weeks of vacation, assuming a normal M-F job

Between vacation and leave, I get 22 days per year...so 6.76 hrs accrued per pay period even though I get it all up front. Been there 8 yrs.
It'll be 27 days per year starting in 2024 so that will be 8.3 hrs per pay period.

I get 23 days per year and like 9 holidays. And they generally don’t GAF where I am. Been there 5 years.
What industry you in?

Always negotiate time on the PTO ladder. Almost every HR will bump you up years even when they are hesitant to bump pay.

12 hours PTO a paycheck.

None, we have unlimited which works out to about 25 days and then another 15 of firm holidays so 40 days off a year overall.

We have unlimited PTO, just do not abuse it.

When I worked for LSU I got 14 hours annual and 10 hours sick per month (we got paid once a month)
Now I didn’t make shite, but the PTO accrual was pretty good

About same here

None. No work for a week, no pay for that week. Just have to trick myself into thinking a few weeks a year are worked in to the annual income.

I get 10 days off for every 20 days worked.

I get 5 weeks vacation, 5 weeks paid sick leave, and 2 weeks PTO which is looked at like taking time off for "insert random reason". No explanation necessary.

8.92 hrs I think. I get 29 days per year.
Mid career, been with my current company for about 11 years now.

I get around 7.5 hours of sick and 7.5 hours of annual each 2 week pay period. It continuously accrues so I have a ton of days built up

Own my business so zero PTO for myself

Unlimited. Most people take 20-30 days a year though.

Everyone I know that has "unlimited PTO" doesn't like it. It's also just a way to get that PTO liability off their books imo.
