you can just see the subtitle changes as all the powers at be surround him and he becomes institutionalized to be the next herbstreit. Dialing down some of his rawness that made him popular to begin with. i gotta give it to him he plays little Herby pretty well...But let PAT PAT

McAfee tries too hard to be funny/edgy. While it may be fun at first, it gets tiresome real quick. Once you see past that you ask yourself “why is this guy here?”.

Please do not compare Gus Johnson to Pat McAfee. The only thing these two have in common is being loud. McAfee is an over the top loud mouth trying to attract Gen Z to College Gameday.

He’s doing a wrestling promo like 80% of the time he’s talking. It’s a lot and most of that time it’s not very funny enough. Sometimes it hits, but just not enough.
