Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns representing our great state for March Madness! Can they pull the upset?
Tennessee has a great defense so should be a low scoring affair. Vols will double Jordan Brown and the Cajuns will have to knock down the 3’s. Should be a good one.

TN has not played well since losing their PG. Losing a PG this late in the season is like losing your starting QB. So, UL-L or any fairly solid team could take them now.

Rick Barnes is not the guy I want leading my team in March (he's great from Nov - Feb). But Tennessee is the 2nd best defensive team in the country. Defense wins in March. Just not a good matchup for ULL I'm afraid

I don’t think so. They don’t double anybody. They’ll dig occasionally on guys if they’re having success but I think they will make Brown beat them.
Obviously he’s a very good player but I haven’t seen them double a big since Domantis Sanonis in Barnes’s second year when Tennessee was playing a 6’8 guy at center.

Haven't watched much UL basketball as you don't see much Sunbelt basketball on the TV schedule but I noticed in the SB championship game that they were struggling to get in the paint consistently against South AL. Probably not a good sign of things to come.

It's a bad matchup for UL. Tennessee takes this as Tennessee is going to limit UL's ability to play around the rim.
